Hello! My name is Igor Sverdlov. But many may know me by the nickname Madskill. I have had this nickname for a long time and is used for social media accounts, video games, metacpan, github and other services. I have been working as a programmer for over 9 years. At the same time, I work most of the time for one of the largest IT companies in Russia. Now I am actively writing code in Perl and Java. Prior to that, I had programming experience in Delphi, C#, PHP, JavaScript, Python and Go. I maintain a perl version of the QBit framework that can be downloaded from metacpan.

For a long time there was an idea to start writing something, but somehow there was always not enough time. Now there is no more time, but I decided that I should not postpone any longer! :) I have a plan for life, if I may say so - my internal compass, which I try to adhere to as much as possible ... Having my own blog is one of the points of my plan, which I have not done until now ... And as one of the heroes of the animated series put it - "and now I will immediately get better", because now I have a blog! Hurrah! Hurrah!

What I plan to write about:

1. Programming. Of course, most of the articles will be related to programming. Firstly, these are all sorts of mistakes that I myself have encountered personally or my work colleagues. Secondly, this is what I myself often look for in the search. Or routine things that you encounter at work almost every day, but for some reason they are not put in your head, or, on the contrary, something disposable that I set up and forgot ... Thirdly, this is what I am interested in at the given moment in time and it is difficult to name something specific here. Let's not ignore the architecture of applications, general approaches to development, algorithms, interesting tasks, as well as reviews of services and utilities.

2. Board games. I'll tell you about my collection of board games, which, by the way, have already accumulated quite a few. I will analyze the rules and nuances of these games. I'll show you what comes in the basic kit and is in the box. I will share with you what emotions they evoke in me during the game. And I will leave my opinion on each game separately.

3. Mobile games. I will review the very cool mobile game Clash Royale. I will show my collection of cards in this game. I'll tell you about some tricks and favorite decks. I will make a video with the process of playing in several modes: duel, two on two, test and river race.

4. Vacation. It just so happened that I usually go on vacation either by my own car or rent a car. Therefore, I can tell you about picturesque places that I happened to see, interesting routes and hotels where I stayed for the night. I'll tell you about my experience of snowboarding and climbing the mountain, as well as share with you my favorite photos and cafes where I drank the most delicious beer and ate the spicy food :)

5. Educational articles. As I wrote above, I have a plan, and I stick to it ... So in this regard, in addition to the blog, there are a couple of projects (and maybe more) that I want to try to implement in the near future. I cannot tell you about these projects in more detail yet. But there will definitely be articles and maybe even a video where I will write pieces of code associated with them. In the articles I will tell you why I did it this way and not otherwise. I will analyze in detail some of the implementations and approaches. So who is interested - do not miss it!
